The Women’s Challenges Centre is being developed as an evidence-informed, practical resource for women and girls in sport, with particular application to cue sports and darts. It is intended to support participation, dignity, access, informed coaching and safer sporting environments.

What the Centre can do

  • Provide general educational information and practical sport guidance.
  • Explain barriers and adjustments that may affect participation.
  • Signpost to authoritative health, safeguarding, legal and regulatory information.
  • Publish carefully governed lived-experience material.
  • Support clubs and coaches with practical tools after review.

What the Centre will not do

  • Diagnose an individual.
  • Interpret blood, hormone or other clinical tests.
  • Prescribe medication, supplements or individual dietary targets.
  • Provide medical clearance to participate or return to sport.
  • Turn an online symptom checklist into a diagnosis.

Current status

The Centre uses a phased publication model. Phase 1 makes the lower-risk evidence-informed resources available while REDs, pregnancy/postnatal/loss and selected higher-risk evidence/commercial-health topics remain under additional review.

Review note

This page forms part of the Centre’s public governance information. It should be reviewed whenever relevant law, guidance, evidence or Eights & Arrows processes change.
