The Women’s Challenges Centre does not provide individual diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, nutritional prescription or medical clearance. Health experiences vary and individual healthcare decisions should be made with an appropriate healthcare professional.
Do not use this Centre to change prescribed treatment
Centre content should never tell a user to stop or change prescribed medication, contraception or HRT. Where a topic involves medication or treatment, the page should explain the evidence boundary and signpost appropriately.
Sporting support without clinical practice
A coach can listen, make reasonable practical adjustments within their role and signpost. A coach should not diagnose REDs, decide whether a pregnancy is medically safe for exercise, prescribe calorie targets, interpret test results or declare somebody medically fit to return.
Emergency and urgent care wording
Where a Centre page needs urgent or emergency signposting, the wording should use current, jurisdiction-appropriate information and be reviewed when the relevant service or guidance changes. The Centre does not create its own clinical emergency thresholds.
Review note
This page forms part of the Centre’s public governance information. It should be reviewed whenever relevant law, guidance, evidence or Eights & Arrows processes change.
